This is a family run business operating out of their shop in Kent and offering designer children's clothes from 0 - 12 years from labels such as Oilily, Bench Par Principesse, Oxbow, Gabrielle, Elle, Cacharel, Kenzo, Dior and loads more (and I mean loads). They also have the Petit Bateau range of underwear for boys and girls, nightwear and dressing up clothes and they specialise in a gorgeous range of christening gowns and accessories.

This website comes to you from fantastic children’s online retailer Mischief Kids (who I’ve mentioned at least twice below). Here you can buy from their Heirloom Christening Collection of British made gowns and rompers at a wide choice of prices. They also offer all the accessories (jackets, shawls, hats and bootees) to go with the gowns and you can have them embroidered as well.

This is a really beautifully designed website for christening gowns and so it should be, for here you’ll find real designer quality at designer prices. Whichever style you choose when you click on ‘larger view’ you get a great deal of detail so you can clearly see embroidery, buttons, bows and ribbons. Everything here is designed by Pamela Kennedy (who started with wedding dresses). This would be a wonderful place to choose something really special.

Honfleur claim to hold stock of all of their christening gowns and accessories so you won’t have to wait for one to be specially made for you. Their range is also well priced, with gowns starting at around £80. They offer the collections of Collins and Hall, Little Darlings and Christine Ann and have a special Winter christening selection. It’s a very busy website but well worth having a look round.

Click through to the online shop and the christening section and although I have to say that the pictures don’t really do the collection justice there’s a lot to look through, with prices for dresses starting at around £60 plus pretty cotton knitted jackets, bibs and bonnets
