This is a wonderful place to find unique gifts and treats for your home. Everything here is pretty, vintage, special and different, and handpicked for the collection by the owner. Obviously these are one offs, so if you do fall in love with something, you'll need to snap it up quickly. Andrew Flint
Artist and designer Andrew Flint-Shipman has exhibited in England, the US, Spain, France, Malta, Belgium and Scotland. He has also designed costumes for the ballet, most notably doing sets and costumes for Mark Baldwin’s production of ‘The man with a moustache’ for London City Ballet which was nominated for an Olivier Award. His designs for tableware, t-shirts, stationery, candles and more are colourful, contemporary and innovative and totally different to what you'll have found elsewhere.

Bodie and Fou is a home accessories company named after its co-founders, French sisters Elodie and Karine who decided to fill a gap in the market for simple, contemporary and unique home interiors. You'll find handmade glass candlesticks, unusual table linens and accessories and a wide range of Cote Bastide home and bath products here. It's not a large range but everything is extremely beautiful and gorgeously photographed so it's well worth a browse. They only deliver to the UK and offer a standard and express service.

On Diana Forrester's website there's a very good choice of quite unusual gifts and decorative accessories for the home and garden mainly from France and also from other parts of the World, ranging from a cute mouse salt and pepper set to vintage style French storage jars, unusual vases and photo frames, fine porcelain and an original expresso set. They're quite hard to really categorise as the products are so widespread but if I tell you that some of their bestsellers are bevelled mirrors, A-Z bookends, lavender scented hearts and pantone mugs you’ll probably get the idea.

There's a lot to look at on this attractive website, but its very easy to get round and the pictures are really clear. You can choose from their ranges of reasonably priced accessories, including candelarbra, storm lanterns, votive glasses and french scented candles and guest soaps plus a wide selection of small, pretty items for outdoors, from traditional wateringcans, to bird feeders, glass carriers and sconces.

La Provence sells designer giftware on its online store. The range includes beautiful French tablecloths, L’occitane beauty products, exquisite glassware and Margaret Loxton’s limited edition prints of French scenes. This is just a very small part of the range, where you’ll fine excellent presents for anyone who loves their home.

Mulberry Hall offers you the opportunity of buying online some of the ranges that they hold in their York shop, including brands such as Baccarat, Herend, Lladro, Royal Copenhagen and Waterford. Having spent a great deal of time in the US due to the fact that my mother-in-law lives in Maryland; I’ve become really attached to the old style quilts, shaker boxes and cushions. For that reason I’m delighted to have found this website, established by an American who moved to the UK with her British husband and decided to bring a New England country store with her. For the quilts you’ll have to wait a while as they are hand made and for other items you can immediately see the stock availability. Where'as on some websites you have to search for information about delivery and gift wrapping, at polly-online it's all clearly laid out for you, as are the items on offer, so buying is far easier. There's an eclectic, contemporary collection here - unusual sculptures and modern jewellery sit side by side with funky lighting, 'sculpted' cushions and pretty, reasonably priced sets of tableware, making this a good place for wedding gifts as well as gifts for other occasions.
